Changes leading to evolution is an inevitable cycle that organizations need to embrace to ensure their  and sustainability. Software quality has been going through an ever-evolving process it now considers various aspects such as the compatible applications, confirming to security protocols, etc..

QA and Development interconnectedness
QA and development are closely interconnected. The evolution of processes in them can take place when both functions collaborate to generate experiences. In the current times, businesses are working with diverse protocols and regulations to align business processes and applications with information security policies such as GDPR, etc.. These policies are determining which QA process and which development patterns to use. To comply with all policies continuous and smooth communication as well as coordination among the teams is required.QA practices enable the teams to monitor various processes such as hardware configuration, feature development, software and application design, release management, etc.. Business across the globe are becoming digital and are offering consumer-facing services and applications. This has forced the software development process to evolve, to become more inclusive and agile instead of just working with a fixed and definite flow.

Growth of QA
There are many factors that are responsible for the consistent growth and progress of QA and software testing as a function and process. Organizations are investing heavily in software quality assurance and testing to ensure that they use the best expertise, methods and processes to enhance the delivery of quality applications, and thereby ensure continuity and profitability of their businesses. The organizations are making huge investments in QA infrastructure, which includes test cases, automation frameworks, setting up a Testing Center of Excellence (TCoE). The markets are growing extremely competitive, where new products and applications are being launched every now and then. Organizations have found new creative and potential ways of attracting new users and retaining the existing ones.

This means that they are packaging their services and products differently, with a complete experience characterized by variety. This requires unceasing understanding and coordination between the development and testing teams. QA is evolving with new methodologies to deal with the growing business demands and customers. A Gartner report estimates that worldwide spending on information security products and services i.e. emerging application security testing tools, especially interactive application security testing (IAST), will contribute to the growth of the segment through 2021. Ensuring the security of applications has become a primary concern for all digital organizations, whether it is cybersecurity or application security.

Conclusion
Security issues such as cybersecurity threats, breaches, and data leaks have affected many organizations across the world. This means that organizations need a robust strategy that is responsive, agile and grows as the challenges grow. QA needs to adopt new tools and leverage new methodologies to address the crisis.
